MyMed Privacy policy

MyMed.com's privacy policy governs the privacy of its users who choose to use it.

Like the content on our website, we aim to present this document in a way that is easy to understand and doesn't include any complex 'legalise'.

The document below outlines all the obligations and requirements of the website, its owners and the users as well as the way in which the websites, processes, stores and protects your personal information and data.

The Website

User privacy is a priority at MyMed.com and our team takes a proactive approach in taking measures to ensure that the privacy of users is maintained throughout their visit.

Use of Cookies

MyMed.com may use cookies to improve the user experience and to track certain behaviours and patterns in order to improve this experience in future. In order to comply with legislative requirements for websites, which require website owners to obtain explicit consent from visitors before implementing reading files such as cookies on your computer or device, where applicable, you will be presented with the option of disabling cookies on your first visit to MyMed.com and/or enable or disable the use of cookies on your PC or device.

When we say cookies, we don't mean delicious biscuits (although wouldn't it be nice if someone could leave these waiting for you?), we mean small files that are saved to your PC's hard drive. These allow our site to save and store information regarding how you use the MyMed.com site, so that we can better tailor your experience with us in future.

If you feel like this is prying, then you are able to deny the use of cookies by taking the necessary steps to do so in your web browser's security settings. Simply select “block all cookies from this website” and that will be that.

At MyMed our business is all about you, so we do use tracking software provided by Google Analytics to monitor and better understand how you use our site, again to provide a better experience for you in future. The analytics tracking cookie will be saved on your hard drive, tracking and monitoring your use and engagement with our site, BUT it will not store, save or collect personal information.

Some other cookies from external vendors may also be active as part of sponsored links or content, adverts and referral programs. These are for referral and conversion tracking purposes and are generally only valid for 30 days, although some may be active for a longer period.  For our full cookie policy click here.
